BEYOND BROKEBACK: The Impact of a Film was blessed to have the contributions of many very talented volunteers. Below are some of the illustrations developed for the project: graphics were designed by ChrisFewa; captions were selected by DCLuke.

It occurred to him that for his growing-up years that was the only road
Jack knew.

 

Hoping for the faintest salty sweet stink of Jack but there was no real
scent, only the memory of it, the imagined power of Brokeback Mountain
of which nothing was left but what he held in his hands.

 

And he would wake sometimes in grief, sometimes with the old sense of
joy and release; the pillow sometimes wet, sometimes the sheets.

 

Jack, I swear...
